June 28th 2008 Learn skills to give life-saving first aid to your baby or child. Suitable for parents, grandparents, babysitters & other child carers. This course is taught by Gill, a nurse, health visitor and paediatric first aid instructor. The course has been structured to give parents and carers all the knowledge and skills they need to stay calm and logical in a crisis. It is run in one session of two and a half hours. The course includes practical hands-on experience, combined with theory and discussion. It covers life-support, choking, burns, meningitis, other emergencies and much more.
