The practice of meditation is indispensable if we wish to deepen our understanding of how we function and who we truly are. It helps us to recognize and accept the different facets  of our personality, allowing an inner sense of spaciousness to develop –  leading to the  ‘peace that passeth all understanding'. Meditation practice helps us to ‘wake up' and see ourselves and life in general with a fresher clearer perspective. Sustained skillful practice guides us into the state of Meditation, a state of just Being…open and receptive to what Is. This day's workshop will help us deepen our understanding and experience of meditation. The approach will be both simple and clear, systematically guiding us deeper in our practice, at whatever stage we may be. Nothing will be imposed or forced. The intention will be to simply provide the correct understanding, and clear framework, for the meditative awareness, innate within each one of us, to mature in its own time. Krishnapremananda has been a resident of  Mandala Yoga Ashram for several years, teaching, studying, working and practicing in that  uniquely focused yoga environment.
