About Equilibre Acupuncture

The equilibre clinic at Gracelands Yard is run by Anne-Sophie Morel, who is a licensed, BAcC registered Acupuncturist and Tui Na therapeutic massage therapist.

Anne-Sophie aims to provide an environment that can catalyse the healing process for each individual, helping them to heal themselves. In her clinic she uses Tui Na therapeutic massage, Acupuncture, nutritional advice and exercise advice as tools for healing. Treatment is individually tailored to each patient's specific needs and the combination of therapies used depends both on the patient's preference and on the most effective way of addressing each specific problem.

Although Acupuncture has been in the papers for its effectiveness in helping with fertility and back ache problems, it can help with all kinds of emotional and physical ailments. Tui Na follows the same principles as Acupuncture, using various massage and stretching techniques.

About Anne-Sophie Morel

Originally from France, I have worked in medical
research for over 10 years before retraining as an acupuncturist at the London College of
 Traditional Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (LCTA), followed by a period of hospital-based
postgraduate study in Hangzhou, China. During my acupuncture BSc, I conducted 
research on postpartum depression and became 
particularly interested in gynaecology.

As a Tai Chi practitioner and instructor for over 10
 years, I have also developed a strong interest in 
musculoskeletal conditions. I now integrate my 
knowledge of Western and Chinese medicine to 
better understand how to best 
help the body heal itself.

A qualified member of the British 
Acupuncture Council (the governing body for 
Professional Acupuncturists), I practice in line with 
their Code of Safe practice.

Acupuncture: £45 for first session (1 1/4 hr) 
£35 for follow up (3/4 to 1 hr)

Tui Na: £40 for 1 hr
